For this assisted living and memory care community in New City, NY, we designed a deeply personalized art program that supports both wayfinding and emotional connection. The Memory Care corridors were curated around familiar, engaging themes—bird watching, sunning, travel, and the outdoors—each chosen to spark recognition, conversation, and comfort. In addition to thoughtfully selected imagery, the project featured custom pieces, including a standout sculptural installation of welded NY letters filled with real baseballs, paying tribute to beloved local pastimes. These layered, meaningful touches not only enhance the environment visually but also create moments of joy and familiarity for residents. By blending thematic storytelling with local artistry, the space becomes more than beautiful—it becomes personal.
